Vehicles are server-side. If your car seems hard to control, unresponsive or drives like on ice, it might be because of your ping. Type /fps in chat and look at your Latency: high ping, while not being noticeable on foot, not only puts you at disadvantage during combat, but also makes driving much harder, as you'll have to compensate for latency. If your ping is over 100, you might want to check your internet connection or reroll a character on a server that is closer to you.
